14 Hours…

…before I take that fateful (20-minute) trip.

My blogging during {pre-|}orientation will likely slow down quite a bit because it’s not particularly easy to blog on a BlackBerry.  I do, however, plan to post a bunch of pictures after it’s all over and I’m settled in (maybe the 6th?).  It probably won’t be as grande as my CPW post, but that’s probably a good thing.

1500: I’m here. :)

It was indeed a Microsoft Summer

First thing: I’m developing my first WordPress theme and it’s coming out pretty nicely!  It integrates quite cleanly with my new site.  I’m really impressed with WordPress’s awesome code structure!

A Gallimaufry

Because Hodge Podge was already taken.

  1. My new website layout is pretty much done, but I think I’ll hold off on releasing it until I make the blog theme.  I have been reading up on WordPress’s documentation about creating themes and I think I know what I should be doing, but we’ll soon find out…  I know that I promised last time that I wouldn’t need any more designs until Web 3.0, but I was wrong.
  2. My computer isn’t being shipped until the 19th now!!!!!1111oneoneoneone
  3. I have a blog post about designing applications with Microsoft products (e.g. ASP.NET, C#, SQL Server 2005…) almost ready.  I’ll post it up in a few days.
  4. I really, really want to compile KDE 4.1, but I’m too nervous to mess up my desktop computer.  And, unfortunately, this computer is the only one that can use all the cool compositing effects, minus the laptop I’m getting…
  5. The iPodLinux site is still down…  It was up for a day a few weeks ago.
  6. I have an ingrown fingernail and it hurts.  A lot.
  7. New interest: cryptography.

More info on my website/blog them later.

MIT BBQ #2
